The Statistical Opportunity for Students (SOS) program is designed to help UBC graduate students formulate and understand the statistical issues involved in their research projects and is open year-round to all UBC graduate students. If you are a graduate student at UBC, you are eligible for a meeting with an ASDa consultant to discuss your project and address your statistical questions, following which you will receive a written summary with recommendations. This service is provided at no charge to you.
See our SOS program page for details on how to apply.
The SOS program is made possible through funding support from the Office of the Provost & Vice-President Academic and the Vice-President Research & Innovation.
